FAQ
FAQ Wild Isle skincare
🌿 Product Ingredients & Safety
-
What preservatives do you use, if any?
We try to use natural preservatives here whenever possible! But creating a product that is safe to use is the most important thing to us. Here is more information on some of the preservatives we use- Sorbitan Caprylate, Benzoic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin -
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes! We make simple skincare formulations, which means there are fewer additives that can make sensitive skin flare up. But as always, we suggest doing a test patch before applying it to your hands or face. -
Are your products free from synthetic fragrances?
Yes—always. On my own sensitive skin journey, I discovered that synthetic fragrance was often the culprit behind irritation, and it’s not always clear what’s in it. That’s why at Wild Isle, we choose to only scent our products with pure essential oils. They smell beautiful, and your skin stays happy.
🧴 Product Use & Storage
-
How long do your products last?
We suggest 12 months, as the oils we use are fresh; they also do expire after 12 months, so we only want our customers to enjoy fresh skincare.
-
Do I need to keep my skincare in the fridge?
No need! Our products are carefully preserved, so refrigeration isn’t required. However, we do recommend storing them in a cool, dry place—away from direct sunlight or heat (like in the car)—to keep them at their best.
✨ Skin Concerns & Results
-
Absolutely! Here's a well-structured and customer-friendly FAQ section for your website using your tone and brand voice:
Will this help with acne, eczema, or rosacea?
Everyone’s skin is different, and while we can’t promise to treat specific skin conditions, many customers with sensitive or reactive skin—including those with acne, eczema, or rosacea—have found relief with our simple, natural formulations. We avoid harsh fillers, synthetic fragrances, and known irritants, focusing instead on nourishing, calming ingredients that support your skin barrier. Always patch test first and consult a dermatologist for persistent conditions.
How long will it take to see results?
Most people begin to notice improvements in hydration, texture, and comfort within the first 1–2 weeks. However, as your skin adjusts to new products—especially natural ones—it may take a full skin cycle (about 28 days) to see more noticeable results.
Why is my skin purging or reacting?
Some skin types experience an adjustment period when switching from conventional to natural skincare. If your skin is purging, it's likely clearing out clogged pores as it balances itself. If you notice redness, stinging, or irritation beyond a few days, stop use and patch test to rule out sensitivities. Transitioning gently—one product at a time—is always the best way.
What’s the best product for dry, oily, or combination skin?
-
Dry Skin: Our rich creams and balms made with shea butter, Tasmanian olive oil, and hyaluronic acid are perfect for intense hydration.
-
Oily or Acne-Prone Skin: Try our lightweight formulas made with balancing ingredients like niacinamide, rose water, and botanical extracts.
-
Combination Skin: Start with a gentle cleanser and a lightweight moisturizer to hydrate without overwhelming oily areas.
How do I transition to natural skincare from conventional products?
Slowly, and one product at a time. We always recommend starting with a gentle cleanser or moisturizer and building from there. This way, you can clearly see what works for your skin and avoid overwhelming it during the transition. Natural skincare may take a little time to show results—but the long-term glow is worth it.
